ABOUT ULF
Ulf joined the business some 10 years ago, bringing with him over 25 years in the asset management industry, mainly specialising in derivatives. He started his financial services career in merchant banking in the late 1980’s and in 1993 co-founded Vector Securities & Derivatives and Vector Equities, both of which were corporate members of the JSE, the Bond Exchange of SA & the SA futures exchange, while providing trading and asset hedging advice to the long term savings and insurance industry. After selling his stake in the business in 2006, he joined the Cape Town based asset manager Blue Alpha Investment Management in the same capacity as Vector Securities. Ulf's extensive experience, now applied to the management of individual private wealth, gives private investors access to prices and hedging strategies previously only available to large investment funds. In addition to the main risk management and oversight tasks which Ulf performs, he is also on the investment team for all Baymont Wealth unit trusts.

Apart from being a proud father of two grown up girls, Ulf also is a keen mountain biker and a qualified skipper.
